ReviewShield ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered Google Review management service operated at reviewerpos.online. We help Indian small and medium businesses monitor, respond to, and manage their Google Business Profile reviews.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
  • Google Business Profile data: With your explicit permission via Google OAuth, we access your Google Business Profile reviews and business information to provide our service.
  • Review data: We store your Google reviews (reviewer name, rating, review text, date) in our secure database to enable AI analysis and reply management.
  • Usage data: Basic logs of actions taken within the platform (syncs, replies posted, reviews flagged).
  • Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To display and manage your Google Business Profile reviews
  • To generate AI-powered reply suggestions using OpenAI (review text is sent to OpenAI's API for processing)
  • To detect potentially fake or policy-violating reviews
  • To post replies to your Google reviews on your behalf (only when you instruct us to)
  • To send you email notifications about new reviews or flagged content
  • To process subscription payments and manage your account

4. Google API Data

ReviewShield's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request the business.manage scope, which is the minimum required to read reviews and post replies.
  • We do not sell your Google data to third parties.
  • We do not use your Google data for advertising purposes.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you explicitly ask for support and consent to it.
  • Your Google OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256-CBC before storage.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete all your data within 30 days. You may request data deletion at any time by emailing us.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (SSL/TLS). Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC. Passwords are hashed using WordPress's bcrypt-based system. Our servers are hosted on Hostinger with regular security updates.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Revoke Google OAuth access at any time via your Google Account settings
  • Disconnect ReviewShield from your Google account at any time from your dashboard

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for login sessions. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice on the platform. Continued use of ReviewShield after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
